Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority

(LIDDA)

Welcome to LIDDA Training Opportunities!

The purpose of these trainings is to help guide the LIDDA in learning about their roles and responsibilities as outlined in 40 TAC, Chapter 2, Subchapter G and L

This training is designed to give HCS / TxHmL Enrollment Specialist the information, tools, and resources needed to successfully complete the HCS enrollment process, which must be completed for all people seeking enrollment into the Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) programs.

As required by Performance Contract, all enrollment staff at a local intellectual and developmental disability authority must complete training for waiver program enrollments before performing enrollment activities and at least annually thereafter for as long as the staff performs enrollment activities for the LIDDA. The training is available through this webpage.
